- Was great step dancer and he used to go out cycling with us, He used to work in the Sunbeam and then the Post Office and then worked as a courier in tourist buses around the country He is still working on the buses and he is used to that as we used to travel all over. In the YHA we travelled one year to Scotland and one year to England and Wales. Oh Tommy he was very nice .

Desmond (Montenotte, Cork): On January 16th, 2020, peacefully, at Marymount University Hospital and Hospice, TOM, dearly beloved son of the late Daniel and Monica Desmond, Seminary Road and dear brother of and the late
Sadly missed by his loving family, nephews, nieces, grandnephews, grandnieces, brother-in-law , sister-in-law , extended family, relatives and a large circle of friends.
Lying in repose at the Mayfield Funeral Home, Old Youghal Road of Jerh. O'Connor Ltd. Removal at 7.00pm on (Friday) evening to St. Joseph's Church, Mayfield. Requiem Mass at 10.15am on (Saturday). Funeral afterwards to the Island Crematorium, Ringaskiddy, Co. Cork. Family flowers only, please. Donations in lieu, if desired, to the Down Syndrome Centre, Cork or the Field of Dreams.
