Visitation was held at Jones & Son Funeral Home on Wednesday, Aug. 31, from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m., with burial at Midway Cemetery on Thursday, Sept. 1, at 10 a.m. Mr. Farlow fought in World War II as a MP courier in Normandy, the Ardennes, northern France, Central Europe and Rhineland. He was a captain with the Baton Rouge Police Department from 1958 until he retired in 1982. He is survived by his wife of 59 years, son, grandson, granddaughter, brother, brother-in-law, and five great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ester and Bertie Farlow; brother, John Farlow; and sister, Nell Strickland.
