Cork Lady Injured in Tractor Accident

Mrs. Ellen Dorgan, 5 Kerryhall Road, Fair Hill, Cork, was seriously injured this afternoon, when she was struck by a tractor and trailer which ran down Fair Hill. She was removed with head injuries to the North Infirmary.
It is thought that some child may have released the brake on the trailer, which was parked on the hill, and it ran down for about 200 yards until it struck a bread van in Wolfe Tone Street.

Cork Woman Killed by Runaway Tractor
Mrs. Ellen Dorgan, of 5 Kerryhall Road, Cork, died in the North lnfirmary following injuries which she sustained when she was struck by a runaway tractor and trailer on Fair Hiil yesterday afternoon The accident occurred shortly after noon, and Mrs. Dorgan was taken to the hospital with head injuries. She died some hours later. It is thought that a child may have released the brake on the tractor. which ran down Fair Hill for about 200 yards, before striking a van in Wolfe Tone Street.

Deeply regretted by her loving family, and relatives. R.I.P. Removal on this (Tuesday) evening at 7.30 o'clock from North Infirmary to the Cathedral. Funeral. after 10 a.m. Requiem Mass, on to-morrow (Wednesday) to St. Joseph's Cemetery .
