The death occurred in the Albury District Hospital of Miss Ellen Lewis
who was affectionately known by many friends as "Aunt Nell'.
Miss Lewis, who was aged 78 years, was the aunt of Mr. and Mrs. T. N. Rowe,
of "Avoca" Young St., Albury.
She was a native of Bathurst and a youngest child of the late Richard Lewis,
who was one of the early pioneers of the Bathurst and Mudgee districts.
She is survived by her eldest brother. Thomas, of Kogarah, aged 95 years.
Burial took place yesterday afternoon in the family grave at Bathurst.
