| Notes |
- Note all of the chidren baptismal records the mother is listed as Honora Horgan not Horrigan. Her family sponsors are listed as Horgan too with only one exception listed as Bridget Horigan. So I am going to list her as Honora Horgan, but she could also be Hanorah Horgan or either christian name and Horrigan.

Henry died in England, 9 Apr 1882 and was buried on the 12th April 1882. So Nora, to survive had to get work. Her mother in law, Elizabeth Mizen, got her a job in a large house but only under the proviso that she convert to Protestantism. She refused and as there was no money she returned to Cork.
From the North Cathedral baptism records it shows that William Henry was baptised in the North Cathedral on the 1st of May 1882. This then gives us a span of just under three weeks between Henry's death and burial until positive proof of the family being back in Cork.
She then had to put all of the children, except Nora who was refused because of a pearl eye, (Some one hit her with a stone in the eye), into a Convent orphanage. They all had to stay there until they were old enough to leave for work.

Maura O'Keefe (Maiden name was in Perth about 2004) said that her grandmother had told her that Norah (Nanno) never left the house and she thought it was because she was married to a protestant or a soldier and that she got such a hard time from it so she never went out the door.
