Noreen O'Halloran said today in a conversation with her that Patsy (Patrick) O'Halloran is buried in Douglas in a grave purchased by Richard O'Halloran . She thought he died about 1934. Matt Falvey 31 Mar 2010
Also in your research did the name Buckley pop up? I always believed my grandfather Pat O'Halloran had a sister who married a Buckley and lived in Arlington Mass. John O'Halloran 11 Feb 2010 There was a Buckley Cousin of the O'Halloran's in Arlington MA. According to John & Janet O'Halloran. "They came from Blarney and there was also a Jim Buckley who lived in Douglas who was a Postman. Two Buckley Cousins a Father and a Brother Drowned at separate locations one in Inniscarra." Noreen O'Halloran Feb 2010 The Buckley's in Arlington, had a Milkman who had a van with the name on the side. - John & Janet O'Halloran Feb 2010. I have looked through the records there is a Dennis J Buckley in Arlington who has a son Edward who on the 1930 census is a Merchant - Retail Dairy. the mother Mary. I was hoping that she would be Mary Halloran as Patricks sister Mary was born 1872 and this seemed to match. Checked the Mass Archived and the best possible marriage match was Dennis Buckley Arlington, 1895, Volume 452, Page 76. Matt 27 Feb 2010. (Copies of the Census on iMac)

1895 Marriage solemnized at the Roman Catholic Chapel of Douglas in the Registrar's District of Douglas in the Union of Cork in the County of Cork
No 28,
When married September 7th 1895
Name and surname Patrick Halloran, Age Full, Condition Widower, Rank or Profession - Seaman, Residence at Time of Marriage - Colemouth Creek, Kent, Father's Name and Surname Daniel Halloran, Rank or Profession of Father Labourer.

Married in the Roman Catholic Chapel of Douglas according to the Rites and Ceremonies of the Roman Catholic Church by me T Canon Murray PP.
Witnesses Michael Coffey and Mary Crowe.
It seems as If Patrick and Margaret Crowe married in Cork in 1895 and then he was posted back to England. Margaret Crowe gave birth to Margaret on 2 Feb 1898 in Sheerness and then there is this Death entry below in Sheppey,, (the Western end of Sheppey was a Naval Dockyard). now a commercial port called Sheerness. Margaret was born in Sheerness! Maybe Margaret died after child birth complications. The next I can see is the 1901 England Census which has Patrick as a Widower living alone on the night of the census, in a Coast Guard house/Accommodation in an area, now gone, between Beach St and Delamark Rd. Beach St. is in a part of Sheerness at the time called Mile Town. just off High St., follow High S.E. a short way. turn left and head along (formerly Edward St) Broadway and this then becomes Marine Parade. On the 1901 census Margaret was aged 3 and staying as a Boarder in the home of Mary J Woolcott (45) a Widow of Leeds. her children and another Boarder. It seems as if Mary Woolcott may have been looking after her and may be or quite possibly Patrick was living there too, but would be required to be on board a vessel or in quarters on the Customs House/Coast Guard Base West of Marine Parade whilst on duty.
