  Notes	Evening Echo - Cork - Saturday 4 January 1997 FITZGERALD (Cork) - On January 3, 1997 (peacefully) at the Mercy Hospital, in the presence of his family, James (Jimmy) Fitzgerald, (former President of the Cork Ex-Boxers Association) and beloved husband of the late Eily (nee Callanan), Farranferris Park, and much loved father of Jim, Joe, Gerald and Carmelle. Very deeply regretted by his heartbroken sons, daughter, grandchildren, dear family friend Rita, brothers George and Robbie, sisters Gertie and Grace, nephews, nieces, son-in-law, daughters-in- law, brothers-in-law, relatives and a large circle of friends. Requiescat in pace. Reposing at O'Connor Brothers Funeral Home, North Gate Bridge. Rosary on tomorrow (Sunday) at 6p.m. Removal on Monday at 7.30p.m. to the Cathedral. Requiem Mass at 2.30p.m. on Tuesday. Funeral afterwards to St. Finbarr's Cemetery.
