He was born in County Cork, Ireland, Aug 8 1875 and lived in Saratoga Springs more than 60 years. Survivors are his wife, Margaret McCarthy, and five sisters, Mrs Stephen Murphy, the Misses Katherine, Julia and Nellie McCarthy all of this City, and Mrs Nelson Sylvander, Brooklyn. The funeral will be held Thursday at 9 a.m. at the residence and at 9:30 in St Clement's Church. Burial will be in the family plot in St Peter's Cemetery.
