One last thing about "John The Man". The day I left Cork for Canada I had to catch a boat in Dublin, so I had to get the train from Cork Station. Anyhow of course "The Man" had to see me off. He handed me a tin of fifty Players cigarettes and wished me
all the best, I could hardly believe it. I forget who was with him at the time but I asked him where the fags came from. He told me he invited JTM in for a pint and he started crying inside the pub. The barmaid asked him what was wrong and he told her his best friend was leaving for Canada, he was after loosing his wallet and had no present to give. The poor girl felt so sorry for him she bought him a pint and the tin of cigs. Needless to say he reminded me of those cigs every time I went back, the most expensive present I ever got. I gotta go cous, Good Luck and all the best.
Sincerely
John Falvey. 3 Jan 2006 - Son of Peter Falvey & Nellie Cotter
