Hornibrook (Cork): On November 6, 2007, unexpectedly, at his home, Templeacre Avenue and late of Kerry Yard, Mulgrave Road, CHRISTOPHER (GUSSIE), beloved son of the late Abie and Mary Kate and loving brother of Bobbie and Billy. Deeply regretted by his loving brothers, nephews, nieces, sister-in-law, relatives neighbours and friends. Reposing at O'Connor Bros Funeral Home, North Gate Bridge. Removal on tomorrow (Tuesday) at 6.30pm to the Church of the Ascension, Gurranabraher. Requiem Mass on Wednesday at 2pm. Funeral afterwards to Douglas Cemetery. May he rest in peace.
The above death notice appeared in the Cork Evening Echo on 13 Nov 2007. Seeing as Christopher's Father was Abie, (possibly short for Abraham), I thought it may refer to this particular branch of the family. For info and possible use later - Matt Falvey.
